It’s better for the environment and you have a decreased risk of obesity, heart disease, diabetes and certain cancers.

a vegan diet will not make u lose weight from being malnourished/lacking in something, it will simply take u to your ideal weight, although it’s not always the case if you are a junk food vegan!

anyway, to answer your question, vegans generally have lower blood pressure, cholesterol (since u can only get cholesterol from animal products), lower rates of heart disease due to the lack of animal fat, as well as lower chances of strokes etc. this is not vegan propaganda but true info from unbiased medical sources.

some people also believe vegans/veggies have better breath since they have no meat in their gut which takes a while to digest!

You get to be the center of attention at meal times. Everyone will be wondering what to offer you to eat, you can keep a waiter at your table for hours, asking what’s in everything on the menu and your friends will be so impressed! It’s cool.

My favorite thing about being vegan is an extension of “saving the animals” but I think deserves its own bullet point. Being vegan allows me to live in accordance with my values. It frees me. I’m not stuck eating something that deep down I know is wrong just because it’s a habit or I’m worried about inconveniencing my friends or wasting 20 seconds of a waitress’ time finding out what I’m eating.
